Welcome to Virtual Imprints!
Virtual Imprints is designed to track and record the arrival and departure times of pet sitters as they visit accounts’ homes to care for pet pals. With the use of a QR scannable card and mobile phone, a pet sitter can quickly and efficiently communicate their times. Plus, if the sitter’s phone is GPS enabled, the sitter’s location during the time scans will also be transmitted.
A QR scannable card is placed in a pet parent’s home. When a pet sitter arrives, they scan the "Check In" QR code which records the time into the Virtual Imprints system. When the visit is over, the pet sitter scans the "Check Out" code to record the checkout time. Pet parents can choose to have these notifications emailed or text messaged to them. They can also sign in to the system to view the history of their sitter’s visits.
Virtual Imprints provides added assurance for pet parents that their pet pals are getting the care they need. It also provides pet sitting organizations assurance that their sitters have arrived safely at each location.

Due to varying internet access and response times, the precision of GPS information and time stamps cannot be guaranteed. This website is not designed to continue tracking the pet sitters' location while logged in or out. The GPS location is only activated for a moment when the QR code is scanned.
